No ShadowCursor signup or credit purchase is needed. The planned ₹500/custom credit service is separate and is not connected to this app. Never send your API key to support or paste it into this website.

From download to your first answer.

Open the Windows app
Download ShadowCursor.exe and open it. It is a portable app; there is no separate installer.

Add your OpenAI API key
Paste the key into the app’s masked field, choose whether to remember it encrypted on this PC, and click Save. Use a model available to your API account.

Capture only what you need
Choose Capture screen, Select area, or Add image. Review the capture and avoid passwords or private data you cannot share.

Ask and review
Type your question and click Ask GPT. Read and verify the answer; API usage is billed to your OpenAI account.

Watch the 59-second walkthrough Clear when finished
Click Clear local to remove working content from the app. Local clearing does not erase content already sent to OpenAI.
