SHADOWCURSOR FOR WINDOWS 1. Extract the ZIP, then open ShadowCursor.exe. 2. Paste your OpenAI API key in the field on the left. 3. Leave Remember securely on this PC checked and click Save. 4. Choose your workflow: Screen Q&A, Multiple choice, or Coding. 5. Capture screen or Select area, then click Ask GPT. No Python installation, website account, or local server is required. Open Help for exact corner areas and timing. Review the Code tab before typing. There is a three-second countdown. Focus a code editor, not a terminal or message composer. Typing stops if focus changes. Copy code and paste if the editor's auto-indentation or auto-pairing changes what is typed. Your remembered key is encrypted for your Windows account. Screenshots and answers stay in memory and can be cleared with Clear local. API requests go directly to OpenAI. API provider retention rules may differ from the app's local one-hour clearing policy. TESTING STATUS The executable was built and launched on Windows x64. Ten offline regression tests and the packaged UI smoke test passed. A real GPT request was not tested because no API key was supplied. Check shortcut availability and your editor's typing behaviour on your own machine. This is an unsigned development build recreated from the supplied guide. Use it in accordance with your Windows security policy. It does not provide screen-recorder invisibility or hidden-process features. The source archive contains README.md, the full Python source, pinned dependencies, build instructions, tests, and third-party notices.
